Ron:

Congratulations on the breakthrough with the Almont DDA. We should discuss what opportunities this may represent with regard to short-term and long-term possibilities.

Much continued success!

Best.

Hi Ron:

Glad to hear you resolved the liability issue for the Almont Community Farmers' Market via the DDA. Sounds like you can proceed unimpeded. Your "post" regarding the Community of Almont resonates with your mission. This is a very good thing. Keep up your efforts on their behalf and I believe you will have untold success. Community focus is a huge calling today, however in most instances it goes unheeded.

Please let me know what else I can do to assist you in your continued endeavors on behalf of your community.

Best,

Jim

Hi Ron:

As we discussed yesterday I think the addtional elements to your current brochure could center on the development of a relationship with the Future Farmers Association at Imaly Schools and the young students who participate in the program. We work with the FFA in Oakland County and it is a wonderful experience.

We also discussed the development of an 8 X 10 inch flyer for displaying in supporting downtown business's. I can probaly come up with some simple designs. Additionally, we should focus on the "community give-back" aspect of your efforts at the downtown market. It may be a little late but an National Earth Day celebration event usually takes place in late April. Perhaps we can design something around that as a way of generating interest in your continued efforts in downtown Almont. I recognize your plate is full but we need to exhaust all of the possibilities.

I also want to thank you for the pictures you provided of last years ALMONT FARMER'S MARKET experiences that Gerry Oakes provided. I'm sure we can utilize them in some fashion to record the history of your past efforts. Perhaps we can enlarge them and post them on the "public bulletin board" in the market as we were discussing as a way of showing and celebrating those who were participating in 2003.

The proto-type jacket you showed me for the market was awesome. I would also like to see the T-shirts and ball cap proto-types that you discussed.

Hope all finds you well. You are to be congratulated on your commintment to the Almont Community.

Much continued SUCCESS!

Best,

Jim
